if it is spreading evenly then place bac the drum in its position and slide back the PCR in its place. now see if the toner is spreading th dvr properly and evenly. Now rotate the DVR slowly from outside, dont touch the dvr with hand as its will collect your finger print and will come in you print. please rotate it when cleaning so its clean around.ġ1. so make sure its clean by cleaning it with soft cloth. this is called DVR (Developer Roller) which collects the toner from toner hopper and then places it on the drum. Now when both are clean, you will see a back roller which is present beneath the drum. when finished please clean back with a dry soft cloth and make sure the drum is completely dry before going to point 10.ġ0. if the drum is not clean by only cloth then you can use distilled water and soft cloth to clean the drum but dont allow the water to stay long on the drum. Now take the drum out and then clean it with a neat soft cloth and be careful not to place any scratches or dots on the drum as thy may end up in the print. but clean it properly till its black and uniform.ĩ. please do this with caution as pressing too hard will damage the pcr as it is made of sponge inside. Now take distilled water and clean the pcr one side only from like you magnetize iron. It should be a bit white in color because of the usageĩ.
From that side push the pcr to he opposite side so that it comes out of the lock.
Then you can see the pcr with one end with a gear which touches with the gear of the OPC drum.Ħ. On either side there are 2 (two) screws please remove them and carefully pull the black sides part out. Now you should open the sides of the cartridge in order to remove the PCR.Ĥ. You will see a black rod which is made with rubber and metal inside,This is the PCR (Primary Charge Roller) below That there is a green drum or Blue drum in some cartridges, this is called OPC drum.ģ. First open the two screws in the front and push the front side a bit and lift the waste bin section up and remove.Ģ.
As I mentioned earlier this is the right procedure as I am in to Refurbishing Business and I do all kinds of refilling.ġ.
